Confession & Spiritual Voice Mail

While apart from my love I have had time to really think about my life, where I have been, how I got here, and where I might go. Although the time away from my dearest has leveled me in many ways, this time apart has also assisted me in taking stock in my respect for her as well as others including myself.

The Catholic Faith is unique in its way of confession. For those of you unfamiliar with the practice, when going to confession, a person is given an opportunity to confess there sins to a priest either with or without a screen which conceals the confessor’s identity. When confessing to the priest, who acts as a middle man between you and the Christian God, you purge yourself of such sins, receive blessings, and then are ordered to pray a certain prayer a certain amount of times depending on the severity of your sins and how long it took you to tell them.

I find nothing wrong with this practice but still believe that one doesn’t really need a middle man between themselves and there creator/creators. None the less by confessing your sins, I do believe there is a spiritual cleansing that takes place as well as a way for blessings to be received. Personally I believe in either the direct link to my creator and or through my creator, leave spiritual voice mails for those on the other side or for those that have yet to get there. Honestly, as I have practiced this for many years, I believe it is one of the things I do spiritually that has sparred me thus far in my life regarding everything that I do.

With that said, as I have done in the past, I strongly suggest that you take a day or two off, away from your love and your every day life then take some time out to think of those and that which you have done and also what you have learned from such scenarios. Despite the fact it is possible everything happens for a positive reason, thus indicating that what ever happened was meant to happen, there is still nothing wrong with spending a moment reflecting.

We ask ourselves sometimes, how can someone be so lucky but if reincarnation exists, maybe it is because those “lucky ones” were the ones that took time out to reflect and possibly reconcile as well as heal from past moments in there last life. I am a firm believer that every moment in our lives is a chance to cleanse or taint our soul and or karma.

If given the time to leave a spiritual voice mail for someone, what would you say to that person? My dear brothers and sisters, think about it. I am almost sure there is someone waiting to hear from you.
