Why not? Then again why should we? My argument is a simple one on both sides of the spectrum. Because we as one race, the human race feel that we need to have someone look after us on a political front, because after all these years of educating and learning rules and regulations, we still feel it is necessary to have a babysitter direct us, why not just go the religious route and find a prophet to run our/a country instead?

Many countries in this world have religion in there political DNA so instead of electing someone from say the Tea Party in the United States, to represent what we/they feel is the equivalent of the prophet we/they believe in via mindset and character, why not just elect a prophet as president who once lived hundreds or thousands of years ago to run a country instead? In many ways we could be better off for I am sure Christ or Mohammed or Krishna would appose how much plastic we litter the world with on those hot summer days that we are accountable for because of the huge amounts of fossil fuels we use that very possibly are causing global warming thus allowing us to litter our oceans and seas with the plastic bottles used to hold the cold water we find ourselves drinking from in a desperate attempt to cool ourselves down because of the hot and humid weather.

Maybe King Mohammed would put a hold on the wheeling and dealing, lying and cheating as well as possible blood money that many of us find ourselves doing to earn a quick buck.

Maybe Babysitter Krishna could guide us regarding what is right and what is wrong when it comes to knowing the value of peace and understanding because after years upon years of knowing better, we still just don’t get it.

My Brothers and Sisters, how many of you still need a babysitter? How many of you still feel it is necessary to give the responsibility of your life either politically or spiritually to someone else to take care of for you? How many of you are ready to begin taking the first steps out of a world of organized religion and possibly even organized state political agendas? How many of you are ready to look at the future, if only for a moment, to consider a day when we no longer have figure heads to vote for or whose religious views we feel compelled to believe in?

Come on and take that first step with me out of the land of weakness of the individual mind and into the land of education of self and self worth. Let’s begin to contemplate a place where we can establish individual organization where our common sense will be our individual leader and education of self via our individualized needs and wants, can be our own military and our individual souls can be at peace within our own world. You can do it if you give yourself not only a chance but take on the responsibility of self instead of having someone do it for you whether they be on a political or religious stage.
