Protests and Reincarnation:
Mission Statement: The Bible Reincarnate
“My hope is that one day your gospel as well as mine as well as countless others can be used to create online something truly living and giving of the self, “The Bible Reincarnate.”
As I watch my brothers and sisters in the Middle East and around the World stand strong for the right to be free, I can’t help but worry about the tactics some of them attempt to use to make there presence/voice heard. Knowing that many have set themselves on fire causes me to ponder the concept of self-karma as well as my wish for our voices to truly be heard via one living bible created by everyone who believes in what ever god, goddess, gods, or no god at all, they believe in. Had our creation, yours and mine, “The Bible Reincarnate” been put online before such actions such as throwing rocks, using firearms, and torching oneself had been acted upon, could the chance to speak in one complete voice assisted in deterring such actions?
I believe that there is a bigger picture, one we miss because we are so wrapped up in our everyday lives, one that we should take time out to think about while developing our own gospel. I have always believed that everything happens for a positive reason thus nothing is ever done in vain. Whatever it was, no matter how it is viewed, was meant to happen because it did. For someone to have set themselves on fire to make a statement regarding an issue they believed in, it could be seen as an atrocity to the concept of self/life by some but it could also be seen as a form of sacrifice to and for others. Neither is good or bad, it just is.
As for a person who sets himself or herself on fire for a cause, I believe that it isn’t up to me to judge that person for there actions. I do believe however that it gives me the right to consider the idea of self-karmic retribution via the person who set themselves on fire. What might there self-karmic retribution be? Might it be based on what kind of life they lived, how they viewed there maker/makers and the many possibilities that either could be forced or simply suggested to the soul, should that soul decide to return to this world in another life. I personally don't believe that bad choices exist. I do however believe that one may be limited to how many choices they have, based on the life they lived prior.
I believe the average all around good person who stood up in such a way might have the following choices to choose from:
1.) Be rewarded by one’s maker/makers for such sacrifice thus come back to live a better than average life.
a. Many may argue that anyone that commits suicide will go to hell but with that said, how could one view the self sacrifice of Jesus Christ? Did he not commit suicide?
b. Some may argue that Christ died for the sins of the world but if that were the case, what is wrong with someone dying for a cause they themselves believe in?
i. Does anyone really have to die in the first place? I think not.
2.) Be condemned by one’s maker/makers for taking it upon themselves to take there own life thus come back to this life normal only to become a burn victim sometime in there new life and live with such scars for the rest of it.
a. Based on the karma of the soul it might depend on what age as well as the severity of the burn one may have to live with.
i. The burn may only cover a small portion of the body or do so on a much broader scale.
3.) Be considered by one’s maker to only be able to choose to be condemned based on the actions of the individual but instead be saved based on the prayers and actions loved ones still here on earth say on that individuals behalf.
a. The possibility of more prayers there are for the individual might lessen the severity of self-karmic punishment.
4.) Maybe there will be no “punishment” at all by ones maker/makers thus instead it would be up to the individual soul to decide how he or she should either be recognized in there next life should they decide to come back.
a. We have to remember that with every action there is a reaction thus like a rock being thrown into a pond there are many rings and it is these rings that could be looked upon as layers of karma spawned by those of whom the original action affected. For example, I am driving and car A wishes to get in front of me. The person in car A has put on there turn signal, been patient, and even gone so far as to wave out there window to inform me that they would really like to get into my lane, in front of me. For doing so, I let them over but….
b. The person behind car A (Car B) has had to slow down, gotten very upset because they are now late for work and because of my “good act” to allow car A in front of me, I have pissed off the person in car B so much so that when that person gets to work they are in such a bad mood that they piss off others and the cycle continues. Eventually that energy spewed by the many that were pissed off because of my action may come back to me or maybe both me and the person in car A. Or will it?
My whole point to this entry can be explained in two parts. The first being, one might want to consider the complexity of the reaction from there action or actions before doing them, whatever that action was and two, “The Bible Reincarnate”; if developed by both you and me, could assist those in this world with their/our views thus making world peace possible but to so we must find peace in our own individual worlds first. To do that, we must individually sit down and ponder our individual lives, write our individual gospels for we all are/can be inspired then work as one to create "The Bible Reincarnate".
Blessed Be…
