Charmed Again I’m Sure

“Charmed” the television show, in my opinion really has been one of, if not the best shows to define all of us and our many ways/issues as well as relationships we all share. How many times have we been the Cole Turner, a half demon, half mortal being who struggles with being so linked to evil but with a conscience to know better. The reason for his struggles pertains to the love of his life, Phoebe Halliwell, whom he would do anything for. On the flip side, how many times have we been the Phoebe Halliwell, who at times can be blinded by love one minute, yet stay as long as humanly possible with the one who continues to crash and burn until she can’t take it anymore?

The thing I have taken most from that wonderful series is the simple fact that we are all good as well as evil and that we all have many issues we continuously struggle with, demons that we have to face sometimes with others but mostly alone, no matter what.

Looking back at pieces I have written regarding TBR, I see how the show inspired me regarding my life, the biggest of such facets to me pertaining to the idea of reincarnation.

In a number of “Charmed” episodes, the Three Halliwell Sisters travel back in time recognizing lives they lived as well as progress into the future to see what there lives may be like. With regards to progressing forward, there is always a hint of uncertainty based on the realization that despite having an idea of what we individually view our future lives as, because of circumstances unforeseen as well as the actions we may take regarding such circumstances, our future life or future lives may not be what we saw/see them as originally.

Topics such as death, fantasy, loss, love, marriage, family, secrets that must never be shared except with a very selected few, as well as possibilities, sex, religion, innocence, spirituality, government, disease, and disaster can all be found in the entire “Charmed” series. Please tell me what other television/movie/ and or radio shows have been able to encompass this vast array of emotions and experiences we all go through every single day. There can’t be that many.

When I first created TBR, The Bible Reincarnate, my hope was to not only open minds but to have individual ideas shared regarding all of the above including my favorite topic of all, reincarnation because it is in my opinion that if those in Heaven don’t care about the materialistic as much as we do, there must be a reason why. Could it be that once there, we all see that such things only bring about drama that we in one way or another karmicly invited into our lives on Earth but that such drama is not needed and does not exist in a real realm of harmony thus we must go back and reincarnate into lives so that we can learn this from our own mistakes while at the same time consciously realizing our good fortune and not capitalize on it in such a way that we isolate ourselves into a pattern that we bring about more drama that we must learn from until we get it right.

Could reincarnation be the answer to now sit down with our individual creators and have a life review of our own before we have one when we pass on from our lives so that we can at least say we tried regarding particular scenarios with the possibility of sparing ourselves from having to come back and face such scenarios again because as we all know, nothing beats failure like a good try.

As for “Charmed” and its brilliant cast, as well as those behind the camera, make up, and special effects and let us not forget its gifted writers, I thank you for opening my mind. To All of You…Blessed Be-
