What happens to the brain when copious amounts of alcohol are ingested; the ability to make good decisions becomes less possible. With that said what if we looked at the brain as Mother Earth and money as the alcohol? We then took the peace makers as our rational way of thinking and those causing problems such as racism, those that are bullies, those government officials who only have there own interests in mind, as well as people who hunger for pure power as the disturbing piece of the mind then got drunk off of the almighty dollar, what would we have? We would have what is going on in the world today, destruction of the environment to the point where one day we may find ourselves literally living in what we now consider a junkyard or a land fill.

There are those that believe we are the smartest creations on the planet but are we really? Like finding a medication that cures one symptom but causes others, we appear to continue creating other medications to offset the symptoms the original medication created. The domino affect continues and what do we have; plastic upon plastic and good land destroyed to build on while empty houses and empty building still stand off in the distance.

We have billionaires buying $70,000,000 dollar yachts when that money could have been used for education, creating jobs, as well as saving the environment.

Not only has the middle class in the world become the dog that begs for scraps at the dinner table while millionaires sit comfortably above us littering the floor but we are soon becoming that same dog who will find himself surrounded by the litter of such millionaires and billionaires wondering what happened to the soft sofa once slept on which is now discarded, torn, and practically unusable.

We continue to allow these things to take place and feed into it because we feel we don’t have a choice but to go with the flow not taking into consideration what the future holds.

Can you fathom what your grandparents have witnessed over time, watching what once were beautiful farms and hill sides now becoming strip malls and empty houses that are not being sold? It happened to them what makes you think it won’t happen to you in a more drastic way while we continue to populate the world in excess battaling the ego empire within our own minds.

I don’t see killer goldfish with machine guns fighting the dreaded hunker bunker frogs of the middle of the pond; nor do I see suicidal bunny rabbits blowing themselves up to prove to the squirrels of the forest that there way of life is better than that of the other.

When was the last time dolphin’s ragged war upon the whales of the ocean or a particular red robin cheated the rest of the bird society out of hundreds of thousands of worms?

I have never seen a dear not share her over abundance of food with other dear nor have I witnessed the Pine Tree attempt to sell it’s pollen to a Maple Tree with the hope that one day that Maple Tree can provide both pine nuts as well as maple syrup.

What are we really and what can be done about it? What will you do to live less like a human and more in harmony with the rest of the earth’s species?
