Are You Ready? August Is Upon Us!
I Missed You
Last night was the first time since going to Hong Kong that I missed a night writing you. Which brought me to wonder, what is it that you/me/us/we miss in life? It doesn’t have be something huge or something small. It doesn’t have to be something physically tangible nor do you have to have missed it for any particular length of time.
As for this life, I miss that twenty something body I once had when I looked my absolute best…ever. I miss moments when as I stretched, my shirt would rise, exposing my firm belly while my jeans casually dropped ever so slightly giving a perfect view to my lower pelvic regain, causing the eyes of passers by to drop just as low so that they could hope to catch a glimpse of my…
I also miss moments with friends and lovers as well as friends who were lovers and lovers who were friends. Life is an interesting road to be on as we walk into the future of the unknown. I prefer to walk into it via my heart for it is there that my soul misses the future not the past. She longs to leap from my body and dance in the light of a new dawn, a new life. She looks forward to walking in her finest form, topless whether it be on the beach or around her house. It will also be then that she/I will begin to miss my next life, long prayed for. It will be there that I will exercise more, love my body more, walk around without as many clothes, more like that of before my before. I plan to live and love and love and live.
Back to this life, I miss late nights doing nothing but watching television alone while eating popcorn and sipping soda in bed. I miss getting up at 4 AM just to watch the latest music videos still airing from the night before.
I miss my parents who are now free to do what ever they want for they are on the other side finally relaxing for a change.
There are many things that I am sure as are you that if we spent long enough writing down the things we missed, we could pass the night away. Many people would say that missing something or someone is a waste of time. When it comes to people, I think of it as spending time with them whether they are physically before me or not. As for missing material objects, why not miss at least some of them. They brought us joy in our lives and it is from such joys often spark good feelings and positive emotions.
As for tonight, I wasn’t going to miss the opportunity to thank you for you and to let you know I appreciate you.
Blessed Be-
