We, to many times, simply take our days and our loved ones for granted. We rush through our morning routine, simply focused on getting things done and out of the way. Often it feels like chores being done and then before you know it, you’re out the door with a simple kiss goodbye, mentally prepared for your day ahead.

Will that be the last time you see your loved ones and or your lover? Of course you don’t think of it as you drive down the road attempting to get through rush hour traffic. If there is anything on your mind other than work it might be, “Did I cut off the oven”? or “Did I leave the lights on?”

Like a whirl wind, we are in and out, bish, boom, bam; maybe at lunch taking a moment out to call in to our lover to figure out what he or she wants for dinner, not really focusing on the conversation because we have to prepare for the next meeting.

Once home, the whirling dervish that we became in the morning is again running at full speed, cooking dinner, making sure the kids do there home work, are bathed, and in bed before it gets too late. By the time we have showered, prepped for the night, made the lunches for the kids for the following day, checked our blackberry for e-mails, planned for our meetings the following day, we find ourselves lying in bed with the one we love, to exhausted to have much of a conversation except to ask how there day went, then kissing them good night and drifting off to sleep to do it all over again the following day.

Is there anywhere in the day that you said, “I love you”?

For me, I make time every noon and or midnight to let my love know I love her. I have always believed as a soul Wiccan practitioner, that noon and midnight as well as every sun set and every sun rise are the most positive times in any day where the energy of the earth is at its end and beginning at the same time. It is then that I let my lover know not only that I love her but how much I love her.

It is in my opinion that we just do not say it enough. The Beatles reminded us that all we need is love. Although life is much more than love, it is in my opinion that if we said it more with meaning, during our day, to the ones we care about the most, The Beatles would be correct because if one is reminded enough that they are loved, they will then feel more open to giving it, making less time for all the things in life we could do without such as hate, racism, vengeance, and drama.

As a little reminder to you my beautiful sisters and brothers, please don’t forget to let your special someone know you care. Those three beautiful words can really go a long way.

Blessed Be-
