Dear Ms. Doherty…Well Done! BADASS Pt. 2

Hi Shannen, well I have finished your book, “Shannen Doherty BADASS A Hard-EARNED GUIDE TO LIVING LIFE WITH STYLE AND (THE RIGHT) ATTITUDE” and I would like to say that I am very pleased with the direction you went with. You discussed girl power with a touch of femininity while staying true to your badass attitude.

I wonder how many languages your book has been written in because I honestly believe it would benefit many girls as well as women in the world greatly. Your material could enlighten as well as empower many people in general and I hope they pick up a copy of this book and read it for themselves.

As I was reading your book I was taken back to a time when I was younger and had stumbled on a book of edict that my grandmother once owned. In many ways, your material conjured up many facts of that book I read so many years ago. Your bohemian idealism is brilliant when it comes to attitude, flare, self, education, creativity, and the open mind.

You focused on the idea of individualism, suggesting the idea of making what ever one does in there life there own and you gave ideas to those who, for what ever reason may need assistance to look beyond the box they so often live in within there minds, ideas on how to do so.

Although your guide is fabulous in many ways, I must admit that I would have liked to know where you stand on particular subjects such as politics, religion, and issues pertaining to not only females but males as well. You did touch on some concepts but based on what I read, there is much more to you and I am sure I am not the only one who would like to know more about who you are and what you believe in.

My Love looks forward to me trying your recipes as do I. She also looks forward to reading your book because there is a lot of what you have to say that she already does/is. She reminds me of an Asian version of you in many ways via looks and based on what I read, attitude as well.

Again, I hope that many find your book and are open minded to understanding that the work you present isn’t just about who you are and how you carry yourself but how you give of yourself via the education/experiences you have drawn from, to assist them in there lives. That is what we are all here for, to learn from each other.

May your work find it’s way across the seas and into the lands where women need a boost of girl power to assist them in strengthening there own being and may your work be read by both sexes to assist in understanding a point of view that reminds us that we all are a work in progress.
