The Death Penalty…We Are All Going To Die

As of tonight 09/20/11 a man is just hours away from being executed for a crime he may not have committed. Who are we to judge whether or not someone has the right to live or die? A reminder to all of those for the death penalty, you will one day die too.

Wouldn’t it be interesting if those for the death penalty were met by those that were executed when they themselves pass away? If one stands before his or her maker and they themselves need witness’s to indicate the good as well as bad they did in there life time, how fascinating it would be for someone who was always for the death penalty to need to rely on the one last testimony, that testimony coming from someone they pressed to be killed in life.

That really is how I see it; that being those we assisted as well as those we let slip though our fingers purposely being the ones that give insight to our overall maker what our end all be all karmic reward or lack there of should be.

We are human beings thus we are not perfect so again I ask the question, who are they, those who are for the death penalty to make such a decision?

War, the death penalty, murder, and suicide; all are not only ways one can die but scenarios we all have a say in, individually, whether or not we are going to allow death to take place.

Tonight my prayers are for the man about to be injected with a series of liquids that will take his earthly life. May he find peace, love, and gentleness in the heavens and may he be there for those who sent him there when it is there time to visit the other side.
