Have You Already Been Prayed For?

This past Friday, I witnessed a horrific accident. From the wreckage rose a man, blood on half his body and anger in his eyes. After immediately dialing 911, I instinctly asked the man to get in my car so that I could take him to the hospital. It was at this moment, it didn’t matter what race or sex or personal ideologies this person believed in. There was no interview that would determine whether or not I allowed this man, dripping of blood, to enter my car. It was pure 100% human bonding that instantly took hold of the moment.

I am happy to say that the police and rescue squad did show up and the man who had dripped blood both in and outside of my vehicle, a man who genuinely trusted me, a stranger, and got into my car, was taken care of .

This experience has lead me to think, had he prayed for me prior to his accident? In some, unique way, had that man at some point in his life, requested that help/assistance be available should an accident like the one I witnessed, ever occur with him in it? Of all the vehicles he could have gotten in, requesting help, why did he feel so comfortable getting into mine? Had I known him before, in a past life and was this experience some sort of karmic pay back to a man that at one time may have assisted me life times ago?

Did I pray or request that in this life time I be given an opportunity to assist mankind in such a way then be given the opportunity to do so this past Friday evening? Had I already been prayed for by loved ones on the other side of the man whom I witnessed skid down the road, leaving flesh and blood behind from the accident he had just been involved in?

Is it possible that such things do take place in the manner I have suggested but because of the moment, we forget about the possible links that lead us to be a part of the experience we either witnessed or were a part of? There are those that may say it was just a coincidence that I share in the recovery of a stranger but I think it is much more than that.

I believe in the ties that bind, especially those of a spiritual nature and everyday gives us the opportunity to make connections with others/strangers that can last life times to come.

Blessed Be-
