Dream a little Dream of You


There are those that say when you dream of others you are dreaming about pieces of yourself. There are those that say that during the hours of 2AM-5AM, spirits, loved ones, even strangers, visit the bedside of a person, whispering thoughts or messages into there head. There are still others that say dreams are possible flashbacks of lives lived. What if they were a combination of the above mentioned or more?

As I have mentioned previously, I have had dreams of what I consider to be memories of past lives and in some cases I have been able to back them up via self hypnosis. Yet there are some that I have no idea of thus I wonder could some of what I have experienced with my eyes shut been foreshadowing events or visits to the other side? If they were visits to the other side, how many plains are there? Is it never ending?

I have read that when you pass on, no matter how old you are when you die, your soul appears thirty something years of age. I looked better in my late twenties but I prefer thirty something over dieing at a ripe old age of eighty plus.

As for the idea of dreaming other pieces of yourself, if you are dreaming of making love or simply being very naughty, is that considered masturbation? As for visits from the other side, is it possible that a lover from another lifetime, who has decided not to be reborn just yet, has come to visit to whisper sweet nothings in one’s ears?

I believe we are given ample opportunity to learn from ourselves. With that said, can you fathom the things one could learn about them if they just took the time out to do so?

If it is a combination of the above what does that say about us? How complex of a creature are we and are we giving enough respect to that part of our being?

My point is simply this; you and I are in my opinion a vast array of information, emotion, experience, and understanding. Why then would anyone want to suppress such blessings by closing themselves off to what could be defined as a real reality by instead loosing themselves in text messages or television commercials? Don’t get me wrong, I understand, we are all on our own individual paths thus particular things that present themselves as learning opportunities may not be the way of a particular student who is not supposed to learn from such facet at such time of presentation. At the same time don’t we owe it to ourselves to dive deeper into our being, focusing on who we are and why?

In Janet and Stewart Farrar’s “A Witches’ Bible The Complete Witches’ Handbook” there is a spell they mention that I have found to be very useful in my everyday life. Although the purpose of Janet and Stewart Farrar’s spell mentioned may be cause for something other than what I recognize it for, I find by saying part of it, it opens up the doors to my subconscious as well as the many facets known and unknown that make up my spiritual as well as physical makeup. The part of the spell that I use is as follows and can be found in there work on page 53 under “The Great Rite”. It reads:

“Open for me the secret way,
The pathway of intelligence,
Beyond the gates of night and day,
Beyond the bounds of time and sense”

Might I suggest you read the above piece of the spell to open your own world to you, a little more? Might I also suggest you check out “The Witches’ Bible The Complete Witches’ Handbook” to assist you in opening your mind to just one of the many spiritual possibilities that are we, you and me?
