Remember August is Upon Us...
Dream of the White Horse
After putting in 11 and 12 hour days this week as a program administrator while still recovering from jetlag the week before, I took it upon myself to take a nap this afternoon to recharge my batteries, if only for a little while. While taking this long deserved nap, I had a most awesome dream where I found myself in an area that looked very similar to the neighborhood I grew up in as a child. Although similar in vibe, it was in many ways not my old home.
In the dream I was with a group of about fifteen people who were celebrating the life of an elderly woman who appeared small and fragile. While everyone was inside honoring this woman, I was out front of the home where before me I found a vast forest. While outside, the sun went down and the trees could only be seen by the light of the full moon above. The moment was not frightening at all. I found myself very calm and at ease with these surroundings.
In the distance, I saw an all white dog very much like that of a husky, running around between the trees as if looking for something or someone. It then disappeared. Still staring into the vast moonlit trees before me, I saw a beautiful white horse galloping. The horse stood out in sheer white, like a soul. The horse then began to run towards me and as it did, I saw that it was being chased by a brown hound dog. As the horse ran past me, I raised my foot up then set it down to distract the hound and was successful in doing so. Although the hound ran past me, because of my distraction, it slowed down then came to a complete stop.
I suddenly found the urge to go inside the home I was outside of to find something to feed the horse. While inside I came across a huge carrot which I shaved and washed clean then proceeded to go outside. In the process of preparing the carrot, I accidentally knocked over the frail old woman but with assistance from those around me, I was able to pick her up and apologize.
Once outside, this big beautiful white horse walked up to me and began talking to me. I learned that the horse was female and 17 years old, in horse years. She thanked me for assisting her regarding the dog as well as for the two foot long, four inch wide, orange carrot, I had gotten her. While feeding her, I watched as she hungrily devoured my gift and once down to the last mouthful of orange splendor, I took the remaining piece of carrot between my teeth and fed it to the horse. It was rather sexy in a bestiality kind of way.
I then woke up and went immediately to my animal spirit cards which in many ways act very much like tarot cards. These animal spirit cards, created by Ms. Susie Green, have assisted me throughout my life, guiding me to be better towards others as well as to myself. It was then that I looked into what “Wild Horse” stood for and learned the following:
“Wild Horse, fabulous winged-Pegasus returned to earth, is the epitome of male sexual energy and of the soaring spirit which dance sets free. His passions and intentions toward his mares are openly declared, his defense of them vigorous. Strong at heart, Horse knows no fear of others or of rejection. Like Horse, defend robustly those whom you love from those who would hurt or belittle them, and let them know of your feelings with ardent speech-for Horse knows that Cupid favors the brave.”
With that I interpreted it like this; the horse was symbolic, speaking on behalf of my coven; the carrot, my penis while the color orange, is actually the original color of luck. The white husky I saw running through the forest earlier in my dream, was me. Interestingly enough with regards to the Chinese calendar, I was born the year of the dog. As for the hound dog, someone, other than me from which I raised my foot only to “put my foot down” on the idea of such dog causing any harm towards the white horse that ran by for me to protect. As for the old woman, this I don’t know. I can only consider her as being me next time around, prior to whom I will become after passing on.
I share this with you because as I have mentioned in the past, I feel we are given many opportunities in life to learn from and the best teacher of such lessons is us but only if we set some time aside for ourselves. I sometimes wonder why we very possibly decide to take physical form from being a spirit prior to our birth. What is it about the physical body that makes it such an interesting vessel to learn from that we could not do so as a spirit? Are we able to understand things in a way that is very different from how we view things on the other side? If Heaven is a place of all knowledge, why then do we decide to come her to learn?
What ever the reason, I personally believe that dreams can tell us more about ourselves than we give ourselves credit for. What are your dreams? What messages have you received from yourself or from a friendly spirit who has whispered such secrets into your ears while you were sleeping? Have you taken time out for yourself to do such research on your life for the betterment of self as well as for others whom you may encounter? How much do you believe in yourself? From one person to another, knowing that we are all here for more than what society tells us we are here for, I believe in you.
Blessed be-
