Remember August is Upon Us!
Sexual Expectations Part 1
The beauty about today is that we as the Human Race are always evolving spiritually, sexually, and philosophically, individually as well as together. Yes it would be great if all of us were at the same speed but then again, that is what makes us different. None the less, I believe we all are moving forward.
We are pressing onward as we begin to accept things some of us have always accepted but were too afraid to do so in public such as respect homosexual, lesbian, or bi-sexual lifestyles. President Obama is putting his foot down regarding the idea of what marriage should be while much of Europe has been open to such lifestyles for years. Before Christianity, many in Ancient Rome didn’t think twice about such lifestyles because it was an everyday occurrence. Yet somehow we began to divide, judge, and put down each other for such ways of living and expectations changed.
Expectations then changed and changed and changed again, always evolving. Taking two steps forward and one step back does get us moving forward, albeit slow, which is something I believe we as a society may have been doing for eons which then leads me to wonder has old become the new “New” or are we stepping away from the past, marching into the future and simply becoming better people at a unique pase? Could it be, like I have explained regarding the idea of taking pieces of particular religions that pertain to only me, that we as a society have begun looking into our past together and in doing so, taking pieces of it that we want to take with us as one race into the future?
Could reincarnation play a role in all of this? You know how I feel about that question.
Still, we as a society continue in small pockets, to put down others for who they are and how they chose to love. I understand that in the bigger picture, lessons need to be learned on both sides of the issue thus there must always be a protagonist as well as an antagonist and both sides of the road must take turns playing such roles.
With all of that said, why do we have expectations? I believe we do to learn about reality while following our dreams and making some of such dreams into realities. We won’t always be successful but I believe in the long run by staying optimistic while staying grounded, that we as one human race are walking forward together, thus there is hope that we will all find happiness individually as well as in unison thus continuing on our own as well as one human race to always have expectations for the better. Besides that’s what dreams are made of and in its purest essence, individual faith is born. Hurray then for expectations, may yours always be great.
Blessed Be-
