Possibilities Part One: “Suicide”

“Remember August is Upon Us”

Possibilities Part One: “Suicide”

In my late twenties, I hoped to create a television program that might give insight to why the world is the way it is, better yet, why certain things possibly happen. The television show was going to be called “Possibilities” whereby each week a particular topic would be discussed. One such topic that always interested me was that of suicide. I had always been told that should one commit suicide they would either go to Hell or Purgatory but they would not be able to get into Heaven.

Personally, this upset me because even though I was unsure at the time of all the variables I have come to understand today, why would someone be punished in such a way that they would have to suffer for all eternity? As I continued throughout my life contemplating the possibilities/repercussions of such an act, I came to particular conclusions that made much more sense to me than to have to live an eternity in someplace other than Heaven.

1.)   What might cause someone to commit suicide?
a.     Karma
                                       i.     Mental illness
1.     Possible mistreatment towards others in this lifetime or in one from the past
2.     Possible concept whereby someone took advantage of others in this lifetime or in a past lifetime.
3.     Hearing the voices of those from the past one may have harmed, while interoperating them to be a piece of today
                                      ii.     Mental breakdown
1.     Possible lesson to learn regarding the idea of judgment towards others in this life or in a past lifetime
a.     Mocking those who might have/are mentally suffering, struggling
                                    iii.     Misunderstanding
1.     The idea of possibly accusing someone in this lifetime or in one from the past
a.     Lying so that one can avoid proper justice
                                    iv.     Drug or alcohol influence
1.     Maybe someone did not beat such a habit in there most recent lifetime thus they had to learn/experience it again this time around only to accidently pass away in the process
                                      v.     Maybe it was supposed to happen as such
1.     To bring divided families together again
2.     To assist mankind to better understand a particular issue
a.     Bullying
b.     Sexual Freedom
c.     Racism
d.     Organized Religion
e.     Mental Illness
2.)   Repercussions
a.     None
                                       i.     Because the soul has been prayed for over and over again by a loved one or complete stranger requesting love and forgiveness for the soul whom took his or her own life.
b.     Mental
                                       i.     Mental Illness
1.     Many variations thereof
c.     Physical
                                       i.     Head Injury
                                      ii.     Body injury
1.     Lose of eye
2.     Lose of the ability to walk
3.     Lose of the ability to talk
4.     Lose of the ability to live on one’s own
d.     Both mental and physical
                                       i.     Either at birth
                                      ii.     Midway through someone’s life
1.     Car accident
2.     War
                                    iii.     Duel diagnosis

What has been thus far mentioned are just a few of the possible ways I believe one may have to justify what it was they took from themselves by way of suicide in a past life for example:

1.)   Gunshot to the head
a.     Come back born mentally challenged
b.     Come back born normal only to suffer a head injury latter in life
c.     Blindness
d.     Deafness
e.     Depending on karma, all or some level of the above
2.)   Jump off a bridge or building
a.     Lose of the ability to walk
b.     Being born without the ability to walk
c.     Lose of one complete limb
d.      Lose of a partial limb
3.)   Asphyxiation
a.     Born with brain damage
b.     Encounter brain damage to some degree during one’s life time
4.)   Poison
a.     Intestinal problems at birth or during one’s lifetime

Although some of the above possibilities may appear to be harsh punishments to have to undergo in one’s life time, when you consider being created by a loving and just creator/creators the punishment fits perfectly with the idea that once the lifetime has expired, such karma has been paid back therefor being able to live the lifetime after it would/should be limitless as well as filled with new challenges.

The equations to individual scenarios are always different and sometimes very vastly for example; Joseph is thirty-seven years old. He is married with one child. Joseph smokes at least two packs a day. Joseph doesn’t work as hard as he should to assist others and his main concern is about brining money home to fill his family’s bellies.

Under intense stress, Joseph shoots himself in the head, committing suicide only to be reborn to not only contend with similar issues he tried to escape from but also having to contend with new challenges destiny has in store for him/set up for each life to experience which means he now has double the stress to contend with but wait there is more.

Because Joseph didn’t apply himself as much as he should have in the life he took from himself helping others, he has trouble in this new life he is contending with, dealing with double the amount of issues he would otherwise have been able to avoid had he not taken his most recent life earlier. Through it all, Joseph find’s someone special, settles down, and starts a family the only difference now is that he has to contend with two lovers, one from his past life and one that was set up to meet him in his current life. Also, where he had only one child in his past life, he is destined to have two in this one therefore because he never completed caring for the one he left behind, he has three mouths to feed other than his wife. Despite the temptation, Joseph perseveres through work and through family issues while doing all he can to keep his secret lover secret. Joseph works his way up to the top of his profession only to have to contend with a divorce causing more stress. Joseph now living with the woman he was supposed to be with in his current life time has worked so hard contending with all of the issues he has been carrying from two life times has now learned that the woman he is with can’t live with him anymore because, subconsciously/spiritually, she was only born to be able to handle issues he was currently to have not those as well as issues he brought with him from his past life time as well.

Joseph is now alone and although still on top of the world materialistically, his personal life is in shambles and it is only going to go down from here. While driving to work one day, Joseph is involved in a car accident leaving him head injured and unable to do the same work that he had been doing. Joseph is now without anyone to assist him and finds it even more difficult to find services that may be able to help, due to his brain injury. Although it has been difficult, after many years of trial and error, Joseph is accepted by a residential agency that works specifically with head injured clients. They work with Joseph to improve his weaker abilities and assist him on improving the strong abilities he never lost.

Joseph is now able to live in a comfortable home with good food and a positive outlook on life. Joseph has just landed his first job since his head injury years before, picking up cigarette butts at a military base, which has contracted out work for those with special needs. Joseph is happy to make his own money and truly feels that life is good. It is then that Joseph learns he has terminal lung cancer, a lesson he was to have learned from in his past life, which might have cleared the way to not having to deal with such an issue again due to the suffering that goes along with it.

After several months of pain and stress, Joseph dies/karma cleared.

Had Joseph not committed suicide, his next life may have been much better. He would have clearly dealt with the smoking issue and would not have had to worry about cheating on his wife because that issue/lesson had been resolved. Joseph might have learned to be better towards mankind thus limiting any issues he might have to face in some way during his next life.

He would have only had two children and would have been able to support them without the amount of stress he contended with. As for the car accident, he might have come out of it unscaved thus not having to worry about finding services for himself.

My point to all of this is, there is an old saying, “It could be worse” thus anytime you feel your life is so bad and not worth living, think again to the possible possibilities.

Blessed Be-
